Mutual Funds Calculator is a small, independent site that does one thing: give Indian investors calculators that are accurate, fast, and free of the clutter you get on most financial websites.
Why this site exists
I built this because I kept seeing people struggle to understand insurance and investment numbers in simple, practical terms. I wanted to create a tool that makes these calculations quick and easy, without having to rely on complicated spreadsheets or confusing financial jargon.
Who runs it
Myself Aman. Iām a Marketing professional with 6+ years of experience in the financial services and fintech space. My work involves digital marketing, customer acquisition, and creating content around financial and insurance products, giving me hands-on experience in the industry.
I’m not a SEBI-registered investment adviser and nothing here is personalised advice. What I can offer is calculators whose maths I can defend line by line, and explanations written in plain language.
How the calculators work
Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server, stored, or logged. There’s no sign-up, no email capture, and no “get your report” gate. Enter your numbers, get your answer, close the tab.
The maths uses standard monthly compounding with contributions at the start of each period, which is the convention Indian fund houses use. Where a calculation involves an assumption ā inflation, for instance ā the assumption is stated on the page rather than buried.
How the content is written
Tax rates, limits and regulatory details are checked against current rules and dated where relevant. When rules change, the affected pages get updated rather than left to rot. If you spot something wrong or out of date, tell me and I’ll fix it.
How the site makes money
Sometime through display advertising. The site doesn’t sell mutual funds, doesn’t earn commission on any product, and doesn’t have referral arrangements with fund houses or distributors. No fund is recommended here because someone paid for it.
